When it comes to conducting any real estate transaction, as a consumer, my recommendation is that every consumer do their research and locate a licensed professional. From the start, everyone is entitled to representation. Next, a licensed agent has access to properties that the consumer may not be aware of. During the process of buying or selling a house, having an expert negotiator as your agent can help to make a smoother transaction. When items such as option periods and inspections come up, having your own agent to explain and coordinate all of this will allow you to relax and not be stressed with the process.

However, for whatever reason one decides to travel or is obligated to travel does not lessen the safety measures that one must have in place for travel in general.
